Copernicus and the trial of Galileo

The heliocentrism theory is the theory tht the sun is in the middle of all the planets. The geocentrism theory is that the earth is in the middle of all the planets. Nicholas Copernicus is the first one who came up with the idea that the sun was the center of all the planets. He knew that the earth moved and wasnt fitted to be in the center. To him the mathematics didnt make sense and with the earth moving it really didnt make sense so he made the Ptolemaic system. This system showed the sun in the middle and the earth circling around it.
The geocentrism theory was brought in mind by aristotle. Many people in the time thoght this theory made the most sense. That earth was the middle beacuse if you looked up in the sky it looked like everything moved but earth. This theory was extremely strong in the religious world. They also thought this beacuse the earth was solid.
In the 21st century we all knoe now that the correct theory is the heliocentrism theory. If it was back then i probably would have also believed in the geocentrism theory becuse it was the most famous one which can just be prvine by looking up.

Scientific Revolution: The Scientific Method

The scientific revolution is about the theory of testing objects. One of the most famous scientist was Aristotle . One example of his work was that he had a theory that a heavier object would drop faster then a lighter one.Later on it was texted and his theory was correct. Later on new scientist came which was called scientific method. The scientist tested the theory of gravity. There are five steps to the scientific method. The first one is scientific theory. The next one is hypothesis testing. The third one is hypothesis bulding. The fourth one is analysis. The fiveth one is obeservation to see if the theory was correct or not. I think the scientific method is the testings of something to see wat will happen and what would be the outcome. It is also to see how things work.

Evolution Vs Creation

In the reading today the debate was about evolution vs creation.charles darwin talked about how evlution is the ase beacuse animals and thinds were first something else and how many things can be linked together like humans being once monkeys. He talked about how we strted off as monkeys and as the time past the monkeys slowly became humans. In creation the people believe that its a religious thing and that godmade everythin happen. They believe that everything is the way that it is for a reason and that how god wants it. None of these theories believe the other. In my opinon i believe in both. I think that god created everything and that it later becomes evolution and that things change over time.
